Malcolm Landgraab III and Family 2

Malcolm and Soo Yun met in college and were friendly.  They wouldn't call each other best friends at the time, but their relations were mainly trustworthy colleagues and preferred rivals.

If Soo was number 1-- Malcolm was number 2.  

If Malcolm was number 2 --Soo was number 2.

Folks often thought Malcolm and Soo should get closer, but Malcolm 3 --not wanting to make things awkward-- always voiced his disgust for such rude comments and society should except the fact that men and women can be associates without being intimate. Soo appreciated Malcolm for voicing that. She never felt awkward with Malcolm-- she never felt anything other than admiration and --of course--- rivalry for her fellow colleague.

Anyway, Soo Yun also happened to get a paid internship in the Isla Paradiso Laboratory.... alongside Malcolm III.  They stayed at the same apartment complex, too.  Once again-- they were friendly.  Soo often went to Malcolm for advice on guys.  He'd GLADLY give it to her.  Soo met a great guy through Malcolm 3 and they were.... GOING to get announce their engagement to Malcolm and their colleagues.... when something horrible happened..

It seems the poor man -engaged to Soo- went missing.  A whole had passed and all they found were broken human skeletal remains that were washed upon the beach one weekend. Police and foresensics can't tell what the fuck happened.  The few teeth that remained confirmed it was Soo's fiancee.

Once the police put the remaining skeletal pieces together-- they found a few bones missing-- most likely in the belly of a shark or at the bottom of the ocean.  They came to the conclusion that the man must've been hit by a car and dumped into the ocean...  maybe hit by a boat while night swimming.

Soo did not like this answer at all.  She tried to start her own investigation.  She sought Malcolm 3 for help. Although he did provide her with the means and access to certain areas to do her own private investigation-- he eventually stopped and advised her to do the same.

"He's dead, Soo. There is nothing you, me, the cops, or even love can do anything about to make otherwise." Malcolm 3 stated coldly. "Look, I'm sure if ____ were alive-- or even during his last... pleading moments he thought about you. He thought about you moving on from this fucked up situation and finding someone else to love you."

Soo Yun arched an eyebrow, "Pleading moment?  Why would you say some sick junk like that, Mal?"

Malcolm replied,  "Everyone pleads when they die.  'Please God! Not like this! Oh I hope my loved ones are alright.'" Malcolm then told Soo the story of his father's harrowing bully experience and when the bully was choking the life out of him in the end-- his father thought only of his future husband, his family.... and even God saving him. fav.me/d7bvi70

Soo began drying her face,  "I didn't know your father was almost killed by bullies, Mal."

"Why would you?" Malcolm 3 snapped. "And I don't appreciate being accused of killing a man for it." His red serpentine eyes began flickering.

"Gawd, I'm so sorry for thinking you'd do anything to _____. I am so--"

Malcolm 3 walked over to Soo and hugged her,  "Look, let's get out of here, kiddo.  You need to start living again. For him.... for me."

Soo reluctantly nodded in agreement. "O-kay."

Malcolm 3 smirked releasing her and walking off. "Don't get the wrong idea-- I can't be number 1 if my number 2 is out of commission." 

Soo giggled,  "Yeah, whatever.  My numbers were on point last week. If you're gonna lose. It might as well be to me."
